REMED
AYT Studio invited the painter Guillaume Alby, known as Remed, for its first collection.
His artistic language, both instinctive and universal, along with the power and serenity of the feminine figures in his works, has been a major source of inspiration for AYT’s silhouettes.

"I paint as one would write a personal journal, a book of inventions, or a philosophical essay. For me, art is the sincere fusion of science and the soul. I live what I feel, I paint what I live."
Guillaume Alby
Remed was Born in Paris and now lives today in Suances, Spain. His work is equally influenced by 20th-century classical artists such as Modigliani and Léger, as well as Moroccan Zellige art ( a highly decorative form of glazed terra cotta). His creations possess a unique and immediately recognizable quality, evident in both micro and macro expressions of his art.
Working at the intersection of mathematics and calligraphy, he seeks a harmonious purity, blending structured forms with fluidity and movement. Remed’s art is a pursuit of truth through simplicity, a universal language of form and color. Though now based in Suances, he grew up in Lille and initially pursued a career in graphic design. However, an encounter with a fellow student led him to discover graffiti, a turning point In his artistic journey.
As he began creating large-scale murals, his work developed Into a highly cosmological and spiritual visual language. Over time, his style embraced an enhanced illustrative simplicity while simultaneously refining its complex storytelling elements. Deeply fascinated by the connection between mathematics and aesthetics, Remed’s work reflects a world where harmony and structure intertwine, imbued with a sense of balance and contrast.
